Indian Institute of Management Ranchi will launch its two-year Post Graduate Programme in Management from the academic session 2010-11. IIM Calcutta will mentor IIM Ranchi in its formative years.
Applications are invited for Faculty Positions (Associate Professor/Assistant Professor) in the areas of Behavioural sciences, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources , Legal, Marketing, Management Information Systems, Statistics, Operations management, Decision Analysis, Communication, Strategic Management, Ethics, Sociology and Public Policy.
The candidates should have Ph.D. in the appropriate discipline with excellent academic record throughout and a minimum of six and three years of experience in teaching and research in relevant areas for Associate Professor and Assistant Professor respectively. Those with strong research records would be given preference.
Candidates interested in visiting faculty positions may also apply. Visiting positions carry consolidated emoluments comparable to those for permanent positions.
The scale of pay will be as follows.
Associate Professor – Rs.37,400 – 67,000+Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 9,500
Assistant Professor – Rs.37,400 – 67,000+Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 9,000
Allowances and other benefits will be as per Government Rules.
