QUALIFICATION, AGE & EXPERIENCE DETAILS:
(1) Senior Administrative Officer - Pay Band III: Rs.15600-39100+ Grade Pay: Rs. 6600/-
  • Graduation in any discipline from a Recognized University and PG Degree in Management or PG Diploma in Management, with a good Academic record throughout.

  • Minimum experience - The Candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in relevant areas i.e. Administrative experience in a Reputed, Educational Institution/ Private Organization or Government Organization. Out of which minimum of five years should be in Administration in the next lower scale equivalent or comparable to the Scale of Administrative officer drawing a Pay band of Salary Rs 15600-39100 with Grade Pay 5400/-.

  • It is desirable that the person applying for the post need to be well conversant with General Administration and with the GOI rules, regulations relating to establishment personnel, recruitment, implementation of GOI directives on reservation, Official Language Implementation, Right to Information Act, Purchase Procedure and Office Administration.
The broad job profile would entail:
  • The person would be responsible for Administrative planning, implementation, coordination and review of various academic and general activities of the Institute to improve the effectiveness of administrative support.

  • The person will handle all administration activities of Post Graduate Programme, Fellow Programme, Interactive Distance Learning Programme, Management Development Programme and Faculty Development Programmes.

  • Any other Tasks, General Administrative responsibilities as assigned by the institute.


  • Age limit: Not exceeding 45 years on the last date fixed for receiving the application.
(2) Executive Assistants - Pay Band II: Rs.9300-34800+ Grade Pay: Rs. 4200/-
  • Applicants should be Post Graduates with minimum 55% marks in any discipline, from a recognized University having thorough knowledge of computer applications. Diploma in Secretarial Practice would be desirable.
    MBA or equivalent qualification would be an added advantage.

  • Minimum experience - The candidate should have eight years of experience, out of which seven years should be in the next lower scale drawing Salary in Pay Band 5200-20200 with Grade Pay-2400/-, or equivalent in an Reputed, Educational Institution/ Private Organization or Government Organization.

  • The person should be smart, dynamic, efficient and highly committed to work with excellent oral & written communication skills. The candidate should be systematic in work style and have an eye for details.

  • Experience as a Secretary to Senior Management in any Reputed Previous Institute/Company would be an added advantage.
The broad job profile would entail:
  • The person would be responsible for managing office of the Head of Department/Faculty/other Department.

  • Preparing, Planning & Organizing Meetings, Seminar’s & Appointments.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and materials for publications and presentations.
  • Handling confidential & sensitive information.
  • Attending Telephone calls, Fax & E-mail.
  • Maintain daily monthly meeting calendar.
  • Maintain close Co-ordination with all Departments ensuring effective Communication.
  • Organize for Travel, Hotel bookings & related Activities.
  • Any other Tasks, General Administrative responsibilities as assigned by the institute.

(3) Stenographer Grade-C: - PB II, Rs. 9300-34800+ Grade Pay: Rs. 4200/-
  • Graduates with 55% marks (Main and Subsidiary subjects) in any discipline from a recognized University. Stenography speed of 100 w.p.m. and thorough knowledge of Computer applications in office.

  • Minimum experience - The Candidate should have Eight years of experience, out of which seven years should be in the next lower scale drawing Salary in Pay Band 5200-20200 with Grade Pay-2400/- or equivalent from Reputed, Educational Institution/ Private Organization or Government Organization.
The incumbent will be responsible for managing Faculty/staff office work and the broad job profile would entail:
  • Taking and transcribing dictation of letters, memoranda, reports, and documents involving common business language, processing correspondence, proofing copy.

  • Maintaining clerical records and files; compiling periodic reports, record keeping and documentation functions.
  • Answering the telephone; sorting and distributing mail to proper sources.
  • Preparing and/or assembling materials for reports, etc.; compiling and tabulating information as required.
  • Administrative and related functions
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, written and spoken English and Hindi.
  • Basic Knowledge of Administrative functions and responsibilities.
  • Any other Tasks, General Administrative responsibilities as assigned by the institute.

(4) Technical Assistant (Digital Library): - Pay Band II: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay: Rs. 4200/-
About IIMK Library:
The Library at IIMK is a world class learning resource center which blends the traditional systems with leading edge digital technologies. It runs a host of computer based information systems and services on a 24X7 format, for the students, researchers and the faculty.
Job Description:
  • The incumbent will be the technical administrator looking after the maintenance, monitoring and administration of the servers and clients in the Library.

  • The person will be responsible for the maintenance and Technical administration of the electronic databases, E-learning platforms and online information systems in the library. The person will also be a team member in the development of software applications deploying latest architectures, focusing on open source platforms.
  • Any other Tasks, General Administrative responsibilities as assigned by the institute.
Qualifications:
  • The incumbent must possess a First Class in three year Diploma in Computer Engineering or Computer Applications from a recognized University / Institute and must have at least Four Year post qualification experiences.
OR
A First Class BE/B-Tech/MCA with at least one Year post qualification experience, in reputed institutions. The experience should be in relevant field such as LAN and Server administration, Software development and in-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems. Knowledge of Database Administration and familiarity with E-learning environment are desirable.

(5) Stenographer Grade-D: - Pay Band I: Rs. 5200-20200+ Grade Pay: Rs. 2400/-

  • Graduation in any discipline with 55% marks (Main & Subsidiary Subjects) from a recognized University. Stenography 80 w.p.m. and thorough knowledge of Computer applications in office.

  • Minimum experience - Three to five years experience from Reputed, Educational Institution/ Private Organization or Government Organization.
The incumbent will be responsible for managing Faculty/staff office work and the broad based job profile would entail:
  • Taking and transcribing dictation of letters, memoranda, reports, and documents involving common business language, processing correspondence, proofing copy.

  • Graduation in any discipline with 55% marks (Main & Subsidiary Subjects) from a recognized University. Thorough knowledge of Computer applications in office. Experience in handling stores and purchases. Diploma in Materials Management would be a desirable added qualification.

  • Minimum experience - Three to five years of experience preferably in office administration, stores and purchase, in a Reputed, Educational Institution/ Private Organization or Government Organization. The person must be flexible in work and time. Committed & dedicated people having experience only need apply.
The incumbent will be responsible for:
  • Day to day Material receipts and Issues.
  • Responsible for safe & proper storage of materials.
  • Responsible for maintenance of all records.

(7) Junior Assistant: - Pay Band I: Rs. 5200-20200+ Grade Pay: Rs. 2400/-

  • Minimum experience - Three to five years experience from a Large Reputed, Educational Institution/ Private Organization or Government Organization.
The incumbent will be responsible for managing Faculty/staff office work and the broad based job profile would entail:
  • Preparing Official letters, memoranda, reports, and documents involving common business language, processing correspondence.
  • Maintaining clerical records and files; compiling periodic reports, record keeping and documentation functions.
  • Answering the telephone; sorting and distributing mail to proper sources.
  • Preparing and/or assembling materials for reports, etc.; compiling and tabulating information as required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, written and spoken English and Hindi.
  • Basic Knowledge of Administrative functions and responsibilities.
  • Any other Tasks, General Administrative responsibilities as assigned by the institute.

  • Age limit: Not exceeding 35 years on the last date fixed for receiving the application.
