Maharashtra State Seeds Corporation Ltd. (Mahabeej) was formed on 28th April 1976 . It is the no. one corporation among all the SSCs. It is involved in production, processing and marketing of seeds or 50 Crops & 225 Varieties & Hybrids in almost all categories of Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds, Fibres, Vegetables, & Fodder Crops. It has been awarded 14 times as National Productivity Award for the best quality and productivity. Its main work is to make available best quality certified seeds in appropriate quantity at right time at affordable prices to the farmers.

Positions:-
1. Deputy General Manager (Production) : One Post
2. Deputy General Manager (Marketing) : One Post
3. Senior Breeder : One Post
4. Plant Engineer: 2 Posts (ST-1, OBC-1)
5. Junior Plant Engineer: One post reserved for VJNT category.
6. Accountant/Internal Auditor: One post reserved for VJNT category.
7. Assistant Field Officer – 10 Posts (SC-1,ST-1,VJ(A) 1,NT(B) 1,NT(C) 1, OBC-2, Open-3)
